Review:
My first Swedish movie! :)
This was on one afternoon when I was visiting Fredrik in Sweden, and we ended up watching it. I couldn't understand much of the language at the time - only a little here or there, but it was still a good movie anyways! :) And I still really enjoy this movie.

It is funny and sad. I definately recommend it!

I've only seen it in Swedish, there might be subtitles somewhere, or probably dubbed.

A cute, fun movie!

Not for everyone. You have to be into old, badly acted movies like this to enjoy this one. The acting is decent, and the plot is good.

Banned in Iceland.

Fantastic!
A very different movie, with a great plot.

Not everyone will like this movie - it is old and British, and it might lose a lot of people. But you've got to try it! This movie is all about the psychological aspects and thoughts of a killer.

Once banned in Sweden and Finland.

Review:
A bad movie.
More of the first movie. The only interesting thing in the movie was Sissy Spacek, and her role was so small that it didn't help enough in the movie.

The movie is just like the first one - except in a different town. The story is not carried on nor do you learn anything new about the situation. And a whole bunch of stuff happens without explaination of why, and a whole bunch of stuff happens that is unbelievable - even for a movie like this.

It is dull and boring.
Don't watch this one. If you want to watch more movies like The Ring - especially to learn more about the complete story, which this movie doesn't do, then skip this one and go find yourself the Japanese originals.

For a lack of a story, the same story as before, and lack of scare:

I'm not sure why Keanu Reeves was cast for this movie - but it works! He does a great job.

An awesome movie! A must-see! :)

This American remake of the Japanese novels and movies was a success!

This movie is pretty much a put-together of all of the Japanese Ring movies. The story that is told in those 3 (technically 4) movies, pretty much all takes place in this one movie. And it works - well!

I definately recommend this movie! Very scary, very creepy, and great actors!

Review:
One of the longest pre-credit movie introductions ever. :/

Johnny Depp did okay in this movie. And the movie itself is pretty okay, too..
It is just the end of the movie that is really bad. :/

I think I expected a little too much from the movie.
But it was a good role for Johnny Depp. A very different character.
I really liked the plot ... but after he found the 3rd book, it just went downhill from there. :/

For the majority of the movie:

For most of the actors and the ending of the movie:

Review:
This movie is really, really bad. :/ And in some way - I sorta think (and hope) that they wanted it to be so bad.. :/

It is a movie within a movie ... and when it is the actual movie - some of the effects really aren't that bad. But some of the acting is just.. SO bad.. :/ That the movie is unbearable. :/

It doesn't even qualify for a Hurly rating .. it was so bad. :/ Some of the effects were good, most were bad. All the acting was bad. And the plot was just horrific. :/

And it is super embarassing for this movie to be from 2000. :/ At least older movies have excuses, this one is just lame.

Avoid this movie at all costs!

Review:
I loved this movie the first time I saw it! A very simple movie with a great story. The three main actors do a wonderful job - if only all movies could be so simple and yet fulfilling.

And why did Nicole Kidman ruin her face with surgery?? I wish she looked like she did from this movie.

Sam Neil - a great actor. Even though I have nightmares of him trying to kill me.. :/ :D

I definately recommend this movie! Not many movies out there that show that a movie doesn't have to be complex and expensive to be awesome!
