Plot:
When ghost hunter Cyrus Kriticos is killed during a hunt, he leaves his house and fortune to his nephew Arthur and his children. Upon entering the house, they activate a machine that one-by-one releases the houses inhabitants: 12 very angry, and very deadly, ghosts. IMDB

Review:
I really like this movie. It is fun and scary and I like the plot. I've not seen the original, so unfortunately I can't compare the two. For the most part, I don't like remakes, but I like this movie on its own without ever having seen the original. (Which I hope to get to see sometime.) It is a simple movie with some good effects. No over-acting, not even by Matthew Lillard (who I thought did a pretty good job in this movie). To be honest, the movie is nothing special, but for some reason I really like it. Did I say that I like it?? This isn't much of a review, I know, but there isn't much to say about a movie unless you really hate it or really love it.
