Review:
I don't really recommend this one - to the normal viewer. :) It is an odd movie, but not really that bad. It could have been much worse. The worst part was that it had English subtitles, so we were forced to sit and watch it, instead of just paying mild attention to it and doing something else at the same time. :/ :D The effects were pretty good, surprisingly, but the story was a bit drawn out. Not horrible, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are into other movies just like it.

Language is in Spanish, but text is obviously available in English. Maybe even dubbed in the US.

This movie is banned in Sweden!

But we definately found Peter Jackson's inspiration for the Black Riders. :D

Review:
Bad, bad movie! A little bit of charm and there are funny parts (entertaining parts). But it really lacks any kind of serious plot. It tries to be a serious Video Nasty, but it really doesn't take itself seriously.

If you're into things like: I Spit on Your Grave and Last House on the Left, then you will like this movie. Otherwise, I recommend that you don't watch this movie.

Review:
A decent movie. I watch it frequently so it is a good movie to just throw in to have something playing. (I like to throw a movie in when I'm sewing - when I'm not listening to music.)

The plot could be worse, the actors could be worse. Everything could be a lot better of course, but it isn't that bad of a movie.

Review:
Not much to say about this movie.. :/ Except DON'T WATCH IT .. EVER!!

This has to be one of the worse movies I have ever seen.. :/ The only thing that kept us watching it was that the quality was really, really bad - so the screen kept freezing every so many seconds and it would leave the actresses in really strange shots and that in itself was hilarious. The movie ... was horrific.. :/

The actresses are bad, the plot is even worse.. :/ (if that is possible). And the.. demon possession.. I mean.. Ahhhh... :/ No one should be allowed to see this movie.. :/ It should be burned and buried.

It didn't even qualify for a Hurly rating. :/
This movie is from 1990.. we thought it was from at least the mid-80's.. :/

Being nice, it deserves:

Review:
Your typical teen "scary" movie.
This one is much better than others like it. The plot, while like many other movies, has a better spin. The actors do a decent job. And in a way - it really doesn't take itself too seriously. Very decent movie. Not a good movie to watch if you want to be scared, but if you're going to watch a teen-horror-flick, I would suggest this one over many others!

This movie could be much, much worse than what it is! Not saying it is good - but it is.. decent. I probably never would have seen this movie but a satellite channel we had showed it like every day for a month .. :/ hard to miss things when they do stuff like that. :/ :)

The characters are a little cheesy - and so are the actors.. Well.. so is the plot, too. But it is much, much better than other movies of its genre.

I only have one problem with this movie: Katie Holmes.

For the movie, actors, plot, and Christian Bale himself:

For some reason I really like this movie. I don't know why. :/ It should probably be awful, one of those you never dare to watch again, but for some reason I like it. Review:
A very decent movie, even for a sci-fi movie. I think that it could have had great potentinal and could have been a little better. But it is a good movie.

Review:

**Spoiler**

The movie is good - no it is awesome! I definately recommend it.

But I don't like the 'end' .. I don't like the plot end. The actual movie itself is fantastic, but it has been done before.

It disappointed me the same way that Hide & Seek did.

Haute Tension is like Saw and Identity merged into one movie. I think it would have been better if the old, crazy man was actually an old, crazy, psycho killer man.

But maybe a lot of French didn't see Identity, and maybe they didn't expect a lot of people outside France to see Haute Tension. Because they both want you to have the same shock-surprise ending, but a movie maker can only pull that on you once until you say to yourself, "It's been done already - do something else."

But I did really, really like the movie. It is very violent, gory, and bloody. And it really lives up to its title: High Tension.

Language is in French, definately available with English subtitles. The dubbed version into English is cut!! There is some fotage missing of the father's death, because with it it is an NC-17, not a rated R. So, if you want the entire movie, make sure you see the subtitled version instead.

For acting, gore, scare appeal, and acheiving their Haute Tension:

For the movie line that I have seen more than enough times:

For the blood, gore, screams, and plot:

Review:
Could have been much, much worse. But I actually like this movie. (Big surprise, huh??)

Most movies like this get very boring after awhile, but this one wasn't too bad. But still not a movie for everyone. A very racy movie for Wes Craven. It is very violent in a not-horror movie way.

Originally banned in: Australia, New Zealand, and the UK (for 30 years!!). Still banned in: Norway, Iceland, and probably Sweden, too.

Review:
Fantastic movie! it is a true story and it is very well presented. It is long, but well worth watching. The actors do an outstanding job. Funny, sad, and exilerating.
